Purpose of the Role

The main aim of the Marketing Executive position is to support the Multi-Channel Marketing Managers to raise awareness of St James Quarter and its’ Occupiers via campaigns and events and ultimately drive the ‘right’ footfall to the destination.

The role includes a primary focus on social media and event coordination and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• contributing ideas to marketing campaigns, brining a distinct POV to the team
• reviewing available data and ensuring content, social and event is relevant to the target market
• coordinating promotional activities and events
• supporting on maintaining website/App and tracking data analytics
• updating databases/working on CRM /training on Klayvio
• monitoring budgets
• managing social media campaigns
• monitoring performance of marketing campaigns
• communicating and building relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) – wider SJQ team, store teams, brand marketers etc
• working with design team on campaign messaging
• ensuring campaign execution is implemented across all main channels in conjunction with marketing manager
• event coordination of hero events

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Research, analytical and communication abilities
• Organised with excellent planning capabilities, methodical and informed
• Good analytical skills to support execution of marketing campaigns
• Communication skills: passing relevant information to the appropriate teams, stakeholders, and clients. Good communication skills are necessary to relay relevant information.
• Requires the necessary technical skill to plan an effective marketing campaign. Understanding fundamentals of CRM/data management system would be a bonus
• Customer-oriented: an ability to understand the customer and their needs is essential to being successful in this role. Knowledge of how the customers view SJQ, and how to build trust and loyalty with customers through salient messaging and event content

Working Hours - 9am – 6pm
