Purpose of the role

To ensure the Centre is a safe, welcoming and pleasant environment for customers and retailers, and to ensue the common areas and carparks are maintained to the highest of standards.To complete daily health and safety check. To ensure any accidents and/or incidents are reported and a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out a litter pick of the entire site.
2. Refuse collection from waste bins.
3. Curb cleaning with mechanical sweeper and brush if required.
4. Soft gardening duties. ( e.g. weed pulling)
5. Removal of all food and liquid spillages.
6. Hourly toilet checks.
7. Deep cleaning of toilets.
8. Dust control mopping.
9. Complete weekly cleaning tasks to a high standard.
10. Machine mopping of Mall area.
11. Undertake regular inspections of the Centre as instructed by the Centre Manager.
12. Carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Manager.
13. Comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the centre.
14. Ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with.
15. Ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the Centre are complied with at all times
16. Ensure that the centre is a safe and pleasant environment.
17. Assist with enquiries from the public or tenants as required
18. Be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company
19. Lock and Unlock Property

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Previous Cleaning Experience
• Experience with COSH regulations
• Manual Handling
• SIA Preferred

Working Hours - 06:00 – 16:00 Friday & Saturday, 07:00 – 17:00 Sunday

Salary - £12.21 per hour
