Purpose of the Role

To assist with the smooth running of the shopping centre and assist with all emergency situations when they occur. This includes monitoring CCTV and life support system alarms, handling customer enquiries and customer concerns. Ensuring daily records are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

To work the hours and shifts in accordance with the conditions of employment.

Manage the Control Room, as per the Assignment Instructions.

To comply fully with the Health and Safety Policy of the centre.

To comply with their individual responsibilities, to ensure that the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire

Safety) Order are complied with in line with company policy and procedures. To ensure the rules and regulations of the centre are complied with at all atimes.

Ensure that all incidents are recorded in the correct manner.

Ensure contractors arriving on site adhere fully to the requirements of the site Health and Safety Contractor

Ensure the centre is a safe and pleasant environment.

Be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company.

To respond to enquiries from the public and respond as per Customer Service Training / expectation

Officers must hold a valud SIA Guarding/Door Supervisor licence and CCTV licence

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Experience within the security industry, particularly in a Control Room Environment.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Able to prioritise and work effectively unsupervised.

Good Timekeeping and reliability.

Well presented with good standards of personal hygiene.

Basic Health and Safety knowledge.

SIA Guarding/Door Supervisor licence and CCTV licence.

Working Hours - per week 48 hrs. 4 days on and 4 days off 

Salary - £12.83/hr
