Events Executive - Highcross, Leicester
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person.
Reporting to the Partnership Manager, the role of Events Executive is to support the delivery of the marketing tactical plan and develop relationships to maximise commercialisation opportunities.
The role will be responsible for the delivery of the centre events calendar and ensuring all compliance documentation is captured and approved by our in-house technical team and Savills Safety+ team.
They will deliver briefings to colleagues prior to events and be the key point of contact during all live events, supporting our partners, ensuring they receive the support needed to thrive at Highcross. The role will strengthen stakeholder relationships and provide admin support for the marketing team, assisting with POs, reporting, and out of hours press support.
The role requires good retail experience, events management and the ability to strongly communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with the Head of Marketing and Partnership Manager to deliver the marketing tactical plan
• Delivery of events calendar, enlisting Occupier participation in centre events
• Ensuring all compliance documentation is captured and approved by our in-house technical team and Savills Safety+ team
• Point of contact during live events
• Assisting with event marketing
• Supporting budget management
• Negotiating with vendors
• Stakeholder engagement
• Support the delivery of the void activation strategy
• Provide briefings to colleagues on event activity
• Support development of brand guidelines
• Develop agency relationships
• Provide admin support to marketing team, including raising POs and compiling reports
• Work on centre specific projects where required
• Lead on the Charity of the Year initiative
• Support the delivery of the ESG strategy, specifically the Social element
• OOO press support
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
• Event management experience
• Project management experience
• Proven interpersonal skills, equally able to engage, influence and motivate individuals
• Social media and content writing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven team player and ability to work alone. Able to maintain close working relationships with the stakeholders where applicable
• Good Microsoft skills including excel, word and PowerPoint

Working hours - 40 hours per week
Salary - £28,000
