Building Front of House Receptionist - Yorkshire House, Leeds

Purpose of the Role
A dedicated staffed reception at the Property always during the Hours of Operation
Ensuring that the reception desk area is kept clear and presentable.
Meeting and greeting, signing in of all visitors to the building, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
Contacting tenants and informing them of guest/visitor arrival and directing guests/visitors as requested by the tenants and members of the building.
Managing deliveries, including couriers and post on behalf of tenants and members of the building.
Managing sign in of maintenance contractors and ensure any maintenance issues which are highlighted by tenants and members of the building regarding the communal areas of the building are reported to the Managing Agents.
Represent the Owner and all tenants and members of the building in a professional and knowledgeable manner and work collaboratively with the Managing Agents to deliver a market leading customer service experience to the Property's tenants and members of the building.
Help prepare facilities and local amenities information i.e. transport links, cash machines, creche, restaurants etc. for general circulation to building users through interactions at the front desk and via building communications.
Engage with local businesses with a view to securing services and discounts for current and future occupiers.
Collaborate with the Managing Agents, community team to send regular emails to the Property tenants informing them of weekly activity within the building, events, health and safety notices, special offers and other community information as appropriate.
Helping to create a community vibe and support to tenants through added value initiatives and events with costs in line with pre-approved budgets (or with costs met via ticket sales) in collaboration with the Managing Agents.
Act as Fire Marshal for the building during Hours of Operation only, including a working knowledge of the building fire alarm system and contact with the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Such role will be undertaken in collaboration with the building manager and General Manager who will be responsible for any fire alarm activation outside the Hours of Operation.
During Hours of Operation only, act as an emergency point of contact (in the absence of the Managing Agents of the Property) for tenants and emergency services.
Work with the Managing Agents to understand building systems to support and ensure the safe running of the Property where appropriate day to day, and on occasion, in absence of the Managing Agents with support from the Managing Agents' Regional Facility Manager and the Managing Agents' 24 hour operational support helpdesk.
Issuance and reprograming of pass cards and key fobs for the main access control system to all tenants and members of the building and manage data securely in line with relevant legislation.
May be preferable to have S.I.A Door Licence and S.I.A CCTV
Key Responsibilities
Primary building point of contact for visitors, contractors, occupiers, emergency services etc..
Control of issue of security passes and key management.
Use the building management software including Cureosity and Vanitfy (CAFM)
Assisting the Building manager in the management of H&S
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Preferable to have S.I.A Door Licence and S.I.A CCTV or wiling to undertake training
Good computer skills with a working knowledge of various software
Working Hours - Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00hrs
Salary - Max £27,000
