Purpose of the Role

The Cleaning operative will perform duties throughout the shopping centre on a daily basis. This will consist of covering sickness, holidays, and any unallocated hours.

Key Responsibilities

Daily tasks

· To support the daily activities of the cleaning team within the centre.

· To ensure all areas are covered. This will involve malls, external areas.

· Provide training on cleaning techniques, colour coding, equipment use, and site procedures.

· Address issues promptly, escalating where required. Making sure all cleaning tasks are carried out daily

· Assist with covering all staff sickness and holidays.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Cleaning Skills

· Can do attitude

· Good communication and customer service abilities.

· Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and solve problems under pressure.

attention to detail and pride in delivering good standards.

Knowledge

· Understanding of cleaning specifications for office environments.

· Familiarity with COSHH, colour-coding systems, and safe chemical handling.

· Awareness of health & safety legislation relevant to cleaning operations.

· Knowledge of cleaning equipment and machinery.

Working Hours - 05.30 – 18.00 – Monday to Sunday

Salary - £13.85p/h
