Assistant Property Manager - 8 Bishopsgate, London

Purpose of the Role
The Assistant Property Manager will report to the Senior Property Manager and support the day-to-day management and performance of 8 Bishopsgate, ensuring the building is operated to a best-in-class standard, with occupier experience at the core of operational delivery.
The role carries responsibility across operational delivery, occupier engagement, financial control and compliance, with ownership of key workstreams and pro-active support in delivering the overall building strategy, and Savills Rise principles of delivering an innovative, best in class operation and occupier experience.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties
Support the day-to-day management of the building, ensuring operational services are delivered to a consistently best-in-class standard, with the brilliant basics executed at all times.
Take ownership of operational issues and occupier queries, informed by regular building inspections and helpdesk activity, ensuring they are identified proactively and managed through to resolution in a timely and professional manner in line with agreed SLAs.
Work closely with M&E, Placemaking & Enlivenment, ESG and all soft and hard service partner teams to ensure a coordinated and consistent operational approach, with performance managed against agreed KPIs/SLAs and contractor compliance requirements.
Support procurement and tender processes where required.
Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of the service charge budget, including monitoring expenditure, managing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and value improvement.
Act as a key point of contact for occupiers, ensuring a high level of service delivery and that all enquiries, including those managed via the Front of House team and shared inbox, are handled effectively and in line with agreed standards.
Attend and contribute to occupier and client meetings, supporting the preparation of presentations and reports, and ensuring actions are tracked and delivered within agreed timeframes.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all 8 Bishopsgate stakeholders.
Support the management of statutory compliance, health & safety and risk management processes, working closely with the engineering team to ensure full compliance across all plant, systems and safety requirements, with accurate records maintained via relevant systems.
Ensure property management systems and documentation (including Data Station) are maintained to a high standard, with all records, reports, procedures and administrative processes accurate, up to date and aligned to regulatory and company requirements.
Ensure the effective management and oversight of the helpdesk and CAFM system, including reactive task allocation, tracking, and associated approval processes.
Support the Senior Property Manager in overseeing and, where required, leading all soft service functions, ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery across the building.
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of occupier events and engagement initiatives, including communications, logistics, H&S requirements, and on-the-day execution, in line with the building’s overall strategy.
Oversee the management of The Lookout booking system, ensuring it is operated effectively and in line with agreed standards.
Manage office and welfare facilities, including stock control of stationery and supplies, ensuring the welfare room and shared spaces are well-maintained, appropriately stocked and presentable at all times.
Attend all relevant Savills training and ensure any required external training is effectively coordinated, completed and recorded to maintain compliance and operational readiness.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Commercial property management experience within a multi-tenanted building preferred.
Understanding of service charge budgets, financial controls and cost management.
Experience working with and managing service partners.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident communicator with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to take ownership of issues.
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
Working Hours - 09:00 – 17:30 hrs
