Purpose of the Role
This newly created role coincides with an exciting series of placemaking projects designed to elevate customer experience on the estate, including a brand refresh, updated wayfinding, expanded communication channels and a growing events programme.
Working with the Head of Engagement and Enlivenment, this role will help create a happy and connected workplace community. The role will support the coordination of an ambitious calendar of workplace events and activations, while ensuring these are effectively communicated and well attended, and that occupiers and visitors are kept informed of offers, incentives, news and other relevant information.
It will also collaborate with the asset management and leasing team for White City Place, helping to capture and communicate the vibrancy of the campus and showcase all that is on offer here.
The role combines innovative thinking and hands-on delivery, ideal for someone who thrives on both the creative and operational sides of marketing and events, with strong storytelling skills and a passion for creating amazing experiences.
Building on the directives outlined by the client, this role will ultimately contribute to delivery of a world-class workplace campus by delivering communication and event services to best practice standards as defined by Savills.
This role will be offered as a two-year fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Promotion
· Develop and implement a communications schedule that effectively promotes events, activities, and initiatives across multiple channels (including social media, website CMS, and the White City Place workplace app).
· Create compelling, on-brand B2C content, including:
o photos and footage of events and activations to turn into polished social media posts
o copy for digital newsletters, the White City Place app and website content
o artwork for print collateral and digital signage
· Oversee and instruct the design and production of promotional materials by creative partners.
· Be the custodian of the new White City Place brand, ensuring consistent application in all communications moving forward
· Build relationships and initiatives in collaboration with on-site retailers to help drive footfall and excite the occupier community with what’s on offer.
· Manage and evolve existing communication channels, ensuring consistency of tone, quality, and engagement.
· Track analytics and engagement data across a variety of digital platforms.
Events Support
· Support the Head of Engagement & Enlivenment to curate a purposeful, engaging calendar of activity that responds to the feedback, needs and interests of the occupier community.
· Assist the planning and delivery of these events and campaigns, from wellness initiatives and informal networking sessions to large-scale seasonal events and activations.
· Support ESG and community-focused initiatives by boosting awareness and driving participation.
Other
Act as an ambassador for White City Place to ensure a positive experience for all visitors
Assist the Estate’s ‘Socially Responsible Management’ (H&S and environmental/sustainability) activities.
Take ownership of White City Place’s and the client’s vision and values ensuring that they are fully integrated into all service delivered.
Work with the site team, client and service partners to come up with initiatives and innovations to constantly improve processes and delivery of services for the Estate.
Participate and contribute to site-wide forums, discussions and network events.
Contribute to the ongoing development of a positive, confident, high-performing site-wide team.
Ensure we are delivering client KPIs as identified within the agreed PMA (Property Management Agreement).
Delivery of ‘Instinct’ (customer experience) operational initiatives across all areas in close liaison with our service partners.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential
· A proven track record in B2C marketing and communications, ideally within a destination marketing setting.
· Experience running events, working in a venue setting, or delivering hospitality/ customer experience in the built environment.
· Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and timelines.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, with an eye for engaging, clear, and brand-aligned messaging.
· Proficient in multi-channel content creation, using design tools to create polished, professional images and artwork, such as Canva and Adobe InDesign, across the following: social media platforms, email marketing software, CMS, print and digital promotion.
· Skilled in managing multi-platform presence (e.g. LinkedIn, website, Instagram, workplace app)
· Practical experience using photo and video equipment (i.e. a compact 'point-and-shoot' camera) to produce high-quality images and footage, or a willingness to develop these skills.
· Ability to track and analyse reach and impact using appropriate tools for each platform (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CRM systems).
· Confident instructing suppliers, creative partners and managing budgets.
· A proactive, collaborative team player with creative flair and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
