Assistant Manager - Car Park Compliance - Belvedere, Manchester

Purpose of the Role
The role of Assistant Manager - Car Park Compliance is pivotal to the success of the Car Park operation. The role will include elements of compliance geared toward the payment card industry, ensuring contracts are setup and sites are adhering to and compliant with the P2PE PCI-DSS standards. The operational element of the role will be around the setup of the car park machinery including tenders, ensuring that equipment providers are delivering a high level of service to our sites with pre-agreed levels of compliant terminals. The officer will also act as the lead when dealing with site based queries and supplier communications.
In addition to the tasks described, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and telephone calls, ensuring professional and timely responses.
2. Act as the first point of contact for all parking-related queries, building positive relationships with sites, service partners, and stakeholders.
3. Maintain and update the asset register, tracking site equipment and PCI compliance status, and provide monthly reporting using DataStation.
4. Support operational car park management, including equipment updates, contract documentation (card payments, Authority Agreements), and EV contract set-up.
5. Assist in the management and distribution of policies, processes, and procedures to sites and suppliers.
6. Assist and eventually manage the training for on site staff for PCI DSS when new sites are mobilised.
7. Use and maintain Proactis SRM and P2P systems; training will be provided.
8. Download, organise, and assist with the reconciliation of card transactions and other financial reports.
9. Produce reports, letters, emails, memos, and other documentation as requested.
10. Contribute to the development and management of the Power BI reporting platform for car park data.
11. Maintain knowledge of legislation, industry standards, and best practice, promoting compliance across operations.
12. Support benchmarking, tender processes, and other projects, with the opportunity to undertake a CIPS course or ISA qualification if suitable.
13. Ensure issues are appropriately addressed in conjunction with the Car Park Supply Chain Lead and relevant stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential Experience & Knowledge:
1. Experience in audits or delivering training is highly desirable.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team under the guidance of the Car Park Supply Chain Lead.
3. Strong customer service skills, with a polite, helpful, and professional approach.

Working Hours - Monday – Friday; 8.30am to 5pm
